Rolling back the bios on T43

I had recently updated the bios and EC controller on my T43 and now get the 2010 error but boot on past it. I think I would like to revert back to an earlier bios that does not check for hard drive compatability. Can someone tell me how to do that? do I have to change the EC also? What version should I drop back to?

You do NOT want to do that!
The last BIOS without the 2010 error was 1.03 IIRC, but that's so far back, that you loose all the benefits of the BIOS updates since.
With the latest BIOS, you can set it to auto-continue after a few seconds.
It'll still show the error and beeps, but you can easily live with that.
The alternative is spending $$ to buy a compatible HD.
Not worth it, unless you boot like 10 times a day....

Thanks RBS, I really don't mind the 2 seconds later that it takes to boot just don't want to convince someone else if I sell the machine.
