T41 widows 7 wireless driver

I have a nicely working 120 days version of windows 7.
Only my wireless is nt yet on.I rearely use it so i never noticed.
Where do I get the driver from?
T41 2374 1.6GHz,1.5GB,160GB

What wireless card do you have in the T41? If you don't know, post the (7) digit machine type/model from the bottom of the laptop. .e.g. 2647-3CU

the easiest way is to run windows update, it should find it automatically. Failing that, use the windows xp driver.

So sorry, ..My T41 (working still) is Type 2374-7FU .nodel of (04/03).
I had downloaded all windows7 drivers from IBM site (Not traceable ny me now)>

i had however installed 6mws14ww.exe expecting it to be the wiff driver....

That machine shipped with Intel PRO/Wireless 2100 3b Mini PCI adapter in it. Is that original card still there? If yes, starting with Vista, that driver is available through windows update from Microsoft.

wel,my windows update is also not working for some reason,so Am I stuck?
I have a working ordinary poor man's lan anway.

Well, get the driver from Intel then.

That extracts the driver to c:\drivers\win\wifi (or \win2k\wifi), open device manager and tell it to search there. The intel driver is probably more recent, so It may be better to just use that.

I downloaded 2100b Driver from intels site(end of life dec 2009..)
Now the wirelessicon on the display bar at the bottomof the lcd screen is blinking ,
but i cant sut it off with Fn F5.?...

My windows 7 also suddenly fired up and did 19 updates !.
