Trying to upgrade/flash my BIOS

I am trying to upgrade from 2.21 to 2.25. I keep on getting an error message that says...BIOS Image file does not match this system. What should I do. Also, will doing this BIOS Upgrade reformat my hard drive?

no, a bios update will not reformat your hdd.

According to the documentation at the below link, there is a separate wide screen version of the BIOS....make sure you are using the right version if you have a wide screen.
