x61 battery

is the x60s battery compatible with the x61 7673?

I thought they would but I recieved a refurbished x60s battery from lenovo (42T4629) is too big for my x61

any information would be very helpful

The X60s/X61s 4 cell slim line battery is not compatible with the X60/X61.

The 4 cell enhanced capacity and 8 cell high capacity batteries ARE compatible across these models (a spacer is supplied for use with the X60s/X61s).
