X61 starts for 2-3 seconds, then turns off :-(

#1 Post by Marginal » Thu Mar 25, 2010 11:13 pm

And the problem started after I upgraded windows and because I was in a hurry, I left it before the end of the update, after I came back home, it was on, I turned it off and the problem started.
I tried unpluging it, even taking the battery off with no success.

Please help.

Thanks.

The problem was that the power supply was damaged, therefore there was not enough power in the battery.
Now I pinched and tightened the cable with a tie wrap and everthing came back to normal.
