Battery and CD-Drive for 755/760

I have a vintage 6x CD-ROM drive with FRU 82H8850 / ASM 82H5505
and another vintage 10.8V 3.0AH battery with FRU 29H9232 / ASM 29H9032

Both items seem to belong to a Thinkpad 760ED, but can probably also be used in a 755 and similar.
No idea if these items work, as I don't have a laptop to test them in.
But they sure would look good in your ThinkPad Museum!
