Bluetooth Headset on T43 ?

While my T43 with XP perfectly works with my bluetooth connected mobile phone, it does not recognize my bluetooth headset.

T43 bluetooth support:

• IBM Integrated Bluetooth IV, 5.1.2600.5512

• Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator, 5.1.2600.5512

Bluetooth Headset:

• Plantronics Voyager PRO, Bluetooth V 2.1 + Enhanced Date Rate,

• Profile: Hands-free v1.5 (HFP), Headset v1.1(HSP)

Would it help to install 'Bluetooth with Enhanced Data Rate Software' (7jba10ww.exe), although the T43 does not support EDR?
