Intel 802.11agn wireless(n-disabled) - What does this mean?

I cannot figure out what this means...can the N be made operational?

Original description: T7300(2GHz), 1GB RAM, 80GB 5400rpm HD, 14.1in 1280x800 LCD, Intel X3100, CDRW/DVD, Intel 802.11agn wireless(n-disabled), Bluetooth, Modem, 1Gb Ethernet, UltraNav, Secure chip, Fingerprint reader, 4c Li-Ion, WinVista Business 32
