Broken Screen!

#1 Post by atct86 » Sun Feb 27, 2005 9:59 pm

I broke my 14.1" XGA screen today.

I was thinking of buying a 14.1" sxga screen off ebay. Which ones would work with my laptop.

Thanks

11P8350 or 11P8352 would be fine.

Hmm I can't say since this is a Dell pull .. I've never tried to cross-populate and I wouldn't want to guesstimate your success.

That LCD will not work.

Also, no SXGA is going to work without additional mods since you have an XGA.

You may be able to use an SXGA LCD if you also buy an SXGA cable. This is usually fine although I have not tried it on any T40s yet.

If you decide to buy all of those parts let us know if it works! =)
