need help screen issues ibm t60

I recently replaced my busted screen with a new one an upon replacing it with the new screen the backlight is very dim so I bought a new inverter and the new inverter did not resolve the issue either. I can use an external monitor fine so i figured it couldnt be a video issue. Are ther any suggestions to this problem? Thanks. Also the new screen and inverter tested good on another machine..

Be more specific as to what parts were used. What resolution was the 'new' LCD and where did you get it from? What did it replace? What is the machine type and model of the T60? (see the bottom sticker) Also, was the new LCD tested on the exact same model T60?

machine type is 2613.. also the busted screen is also dim as well, which makes me think there is another problem besides the screen.. and when i say dim i mean to the point where it looks as though the backlight or inverter has gone out. and i recently replaced the video cable and still no luck. i dont know the resolution but i received the new screen from laptop aid. the model of the screen is ht14x1b-201.. thanks
