My T30 continues to work, unencumbered, since last report.

After doing the "makeover" last year (2gb ram, new 80gb hard drive, new battery) it's working flawlessly and is used frequently. No 2nd ram slot problems at all. I'm beginning to think that it might have been sent back to IBM for repairing the slot issue before I picked it up used 4 years ago. I'm using open office and various browsers, although Chrome has been my favorite lately. Seems to work nicely with the t30. Happy with XP pro (with latest sp/updates) and the free Microsoft antivirus. Thanks you forum members for your encouragement/advice/help. We love our t30!
