I have a T42 Drive cover for a 15" I want to trade for a R51 drive cover for a 14.1 in screen.

Do you mean the caddy: usually silver and white,black,or blue colored, or the door: black plastic?

I have an extra 14" plastic door, but it might not be tall enough for an R series, maybe made for T. If it would fit, could do the trade. How tall is your opening, or anyone know if the height is different?

Or if you mean the caddy, you can usually fit the "wrong" caddy, as long as you're sure you have a way to get the hard drive back out again. My favorite caddies have plastic tape or some plastic strip of some kind sticking out, even if the door is meant to grip the sides of the caddy. If you meant the caddy, and you really need to trade it, I could probably help you out, since I have 1 each extra of about 3 kinds.

Yes the black plastic cover is what I need. A t40-T43 14.1 cover will not work. I need one specifically for a R50-R52 14.1.
