Hi All.
Is anyone else having problem with hardware acceleration (HA) on when watching dvds using powerdvd 5 or 6? I see blank screen when hardware acceleration is turned on when using powerdvd. Audio stream is working, and when moving the mouse over an active button, the mouse will change but I cannot see anything on the screen since it is blank. When HA is off on powerdvd, everything is working.
Same symptom with Windows Media Player 10 but with HA off, WMP10 will just hang. With HA on, I will only get audio stream.
This funny thing does not happen on my desktop. I think it is the Savage chip that is rubbish here, which is causing the problem. Anyone else having the same problem and any solution to it?
Thanks.
Hardware acceleration and DVDs on a T22.
