T61 Audio Feedback

My brother's T61 with Windows 7 has audio feedback when the volume is turned up to full blast. I booted Ubuntu and it does not exhibit the feedback. My own T61 has Windows 7 and has no problem with audio feedback.

Any suggestions?

I occasionally need to use these units on an LCD monitor or TV.

I have 2 x 410, 1 x 420 and 1 x 420s.

Only tested the 420s on Win7 and it won't...
