Are there any video reviews of the T4x? please take a look.
hi guys, im having a hard time deciding for which lappy i will go, my preferred 2 are the new s380 sony and of course the t43 (26684eu).
i have previously owned a S series lappy but never a T4x, however i love the t43 and its system configuration, so first i have to make sure i will buy the perfect one (for me) because i dont want to be returning anything by insatisfaction.
can someone please hook me up with some links or anything that will help me make my decition on the T4x, maybe some place where i can personally see one (oh my god this'll be excelent) or i dont know some good photos and etc.... i live in NJ, i travel alot to MD, NY, WA D.C and MA.
please thank you so much guys. i will really appriciate any help.
ps: i have seen some reviews with pictures, its configuration perfectly fits me so basicly what im looking for is its stylish and etc exteriorly. thx again

Glad I saw this post. I've used both sorta. I have a T42 2373-9XU, and a friend of mine at college just picked up the S380 (but 1.7GHz and Radeon 9700).
Differences:
T42 is thinner, much higher quality feeling (not just being IBM biased here, the Sony left much to be desired).
Does T43 have expresscard instead of Cardbus? Sony S still has Cardbus.
It's a 13.3 inch screen, and much lower resolution than the SXGA+. Desktop space is definitely a bit limited (maybe I'm just anti-widescreen).
Touchpad buttons and keyboard on Sony feel very cheap.
BIG ONE: The closing mechanism on the Sony. It doesn't use latches, it just sorta holds the screen down. It requires two hands to open the laptop, and I can't see this staying that tight over time (go find the S380 at Best Buy and see what I mean, they are bad with repetitive use).
The fan gets quite loud on the Sony, when gaming it's pretty annoying.
Any more questions?

i dont recall seeing any s380 for retail, it just got released for customize at sonystyle.com
you might be refering to the s360.... but however all that, that you said is indeed truth since i already owned a s series lappy and know what you're talking about (returned for heat issues and ...)
thanks for the info anyways.
