#1 Post by schmaud » Thu Apr 15, 2010 5:23 am

Hi,

I have a t41 with sxga screen and a slow USB. I am considering hundting for a r5x board with integrated graphics.

- any one seen a slow USB issue with these boards?
- can the integratet graphics drive a sxga+?

thanks!

The R50 or R51 boards with integrated gfx do NOT support SXGA+.
The R52 board with integrated gfx CAN support SXGA+, but only a 15" LCD, not the 14.1".
R52 also requires a different CPU (533 FSB) and RAM (PC2-4200)
All boards with ATI gfx do support SXGA+.

The USB issue has its own Sticky at the top of the Tx4 forum, and is due to a loose Southbridge chip.
