I have T61 that I purchased in 2007. I rarely used it and it stayed off most of the time but connected to power outlet. Just now I had to replace battery b/c it wouldn't hold a charge.
Is there any recommendation on how to prolong long-term battery life with my usage pattern? Is it better to leave it connected to power or not?

Lithium Ion batteries degrade chemically whether you use them or not. ~3 years is a good lifecycle for a Lithiumn Ion battery, so if you are expecting any approach to give you more than that, you will be disappointed.JoeSchmoe007 wrote:I have T61 that I purchased in 2007.
