WTB: 560(e) and 760e parts for UK

#1 Post by Richard_Smedley » Tue Mar 01, 2005 8:44 am

Hi there,

I'm looking to update a 560, 560e and 760e.

I'd like to buy RAM:
64MB for both 760e and 560e

HDD:
6GB
would consider other sizes :)

external floppy - for the 560 s

Port replicators and Docks for 560e and 760e.

Car (12V) PSU and
Mains PSU
for 560e

I can swap for parts for old desktops, servers or Macs, or
even pay cash if necessary ;-)

Thanks,

- Richard

Hello AlphaKilo,

A port replicator would be handy, thanks :-)

My "junk" isn't very well catalogued, but I've got bits from several
PII and Pentium servers and desktops - plenty of motherboards;
some ISA and PCI cards; some removable drives - including scsi
zip, etc; early PPC Macs; Lots of Free Software, some with manuals;
but not much RAM, nor many HDDs.
Let me know if you're after something specific, and I'll take a look in
the attic.
HTH.

Postage may be a problem to the USA on some of the larger
items - let me know if you ever visit Liverpool or Manchester ;-)

Cheers,

- Richard

btw Forgot to add batteries to the wanted list - though I see itfactory.co.uk
have 560 batteries for GBP45.83 inc VAT.

I have a 560 simple port replicator, a 64 meg laptop memory stick (EDO) that will work in a 560 and a 560 floppy cable (no floppy box). I also have a couple plastic screen latches and some other chassis parts for a 560z. Also have a 560 battery that was good 6-8 mos ago when I sold the last 560 I had. Email me at hwattys@aol.com. I might do a trade or I can always take cash.
