X60s Keyboard light is not working.

#1 Post by John H » Sat Apr 24, 2010 2:20 pm

The KB light at the top of the screen cover isn't working, and I miss it.

Is it easy to replace? Where can I get the part? Might it be a fuse?

It's part of the LCD ribbon cable. I doubt it's a fuse. You could try reseating the LCD cable at the systemboard end. If that doesn't work, try a new LCD signal cable.
