I am considering moving to windows 7 on my thinkpad R61 (model 8934A7U) and as I understand it, the rescue and recovery partition - which is hidden - won't be touched during the install.
however I am concerned that I may be unable to access it after I have installed Windows 7. Does the RR partition depend on the boot sector or boot partition to be able to load ? If I load windows 7 will I overwrite that ?
If I do, can it be fixed ?
What has been peoples experience here ?
Any advice is appreciated.
thanks in advance
