HS2300 + mod Bios + modding AcAdaptersInfo.dll = not work

#1 Post by miszka » Thu Apr 29, 2010 5:36 pm

Hi,

With success i was able to make moded bios. Now i have installed mc8775 hp branded card. The hp drivers have been installed without any problem.

I tried to edid AcAdaptersInfo.dll (ok, finding 2 entries) but now i am not able to find proper strings in Acon.dll (as written here: http://www.thinkpads.com/forum/viewtopi ... hilit=03f0).

After changing only AcAdaptersInfo.dll and installing lenovo's driver wwan still is not viewable in AC (only change is that by the time of booting windows card is beeing off).

Any halp ?

M.

Did you cover Pin-20? The card works with the modified BIOS and Pin-20 taped. Why do you even care if the MC8775 works inside Access Connections?

No. I ve read on zender's page, that with newest bios it is not required.

Ok, I will try in a moment. But what is interesting for me. before starting play with *.dll card was normally detected in windows.... not it is powered off :(

As I cannot find sierra manager on web and like access connections. But if this will not be possible - why not. I just want to use this card, as MC8755 was pissing me off with only 3G suppor, weak range and poor transfer rate (pure 3G).

Ok, found sierra manager. 3G is working superb ;)
My question is - is there any way to run this card via ac ?
