DOS won't recognize the CF card on my X22

Anyone know what driver will work for this? I can get DOS to recognize the cf card in a usb reader. The thinkwiki said this is controlled by the pcmcia. I tried all the drivers on the Levano site including the pcmcia cd driver, It could be a problem with *my* config.sys programming abilities. I'm running this in the service partition.

the CF card, as you say, is recognized as a PCMCIA device--have you tried
IBM's PCMCIA driver for DOS?
