Convert external floppy drive cable to USB?

#1 Post by henrychang » Wed May 05, 2010 8:17 pm

I inherited an old external floppy drive #10H3980, and would like to use it on a newer Thinkpad with USB ports. Is there an adapter I can get for what looks to be a 13-contact SCSI connector (cable #85G9169)?

You can buy a USB floppy on eBay for $7.99. I know of no way to convert you existing floppy.
