ATI PowerPlay and Windows Aero - does not play nice

#1 Post by netzspannung » Sat May 08, 2010 5:39 am

OK guys, I found out that while on battery power, ATI PowerPlay function slows the Windows Aero Desktop to an insupportably slow crawl. I thus had to disable the function in Windows power manager. Do you have the same problem?
It is not good to give up battery life, does anybody know of a workaround?

My machine is an X1300 T60.
760ED -> 600X -> T22 -> T41 -> T42 -> T60
