OK guys, I found out that while on battery power, ATI PowerPlay function slows the Windows Aero Desktop to an insupportably slow crawl. I thus had to disable the function in Windows power manager. Do you have the same problem?
It is not good to give up battery life, does anybody know of a workaround?
My machine is an X1300 T60.
