benchmark results t42p vs t43

Here are the results of PC-DOCTOR diagnostics, benchmark between

T42p, ( 2.0 GHZ dothan 400 FSB, 1GB DDR 333 MHZ, 128 MB Fire GL T2 )
T43 ( 1.86 GhZ Dothan 533 FSB, 512 MB DDR 533 MHZ, 64 MB X300 -- the pc doctor thinks it is X600, and shows it as CSPL - M24 when queried in VGA, LCD info etc.. )

Hard disk both 60GB -- 7200 Rpm, GCC 4242N combo drive

comparing video out put shows, the X300 / X600 numbers are much more ahead of the fire GL T2, is this something really true, or these PC-DOCTOR diags are just putting out some numbers ?

So many questions...

How did you get your hands on a T43? Why would you think that this T43 does not, in fact, have an X600? I believe that IBM planned four levels of graphics performance: Integrated, X300, X600, v3200. I need to check tabook on this.

Why would the T43 have slower memory access? That was one of it's saving graces... 533 FSB with DDR2. It should beat the T42 on memory speed, but these numbers appear to show the opposite.

You mention that the T42p has a 7K60 hard drive. What does the T43 have?

T43 was ordered via a education channel, i am sure any one who calls over phone will be able to order, because they had the availabilty was feb 25th.

The hard disk was the same in both, i plugged in the hard disk from T42p during test.

I belived i have X300, based on the specs which it was sold with.

The memory in both of them is different T42p is 1GB and T43 is only 512MB.. may be that could explain the difference in those memory benchmarks ?
