X100e - install drivers under Win 7 64bit

#1 Post by s1mp3 » Tue May 18, 2010 4:08 am

Do I need to install any drivers under Win7 64bit or just leave it alone after windows update?

I have installed only graphic card drivers from Lenovo.

I think that machine slows down after installing drivers from Lenovo.

Anyone thinks the same?

Drivers I don't think slow anything down, but if you're referring to the Thinkvantage tools, then yes, having them all installed can slow things down. You might want to pick and choose the ones you want. I only use Power Manager, Easy Eject and the Hotkey.

Sorry, I was thinking about Thinkvantage tools.

I'll try with only Power Manager and the Hotkey.

Don't know about System update and Active Protection System...

Anyway, thank's for your reply :)
