need Mini-Dock measurement

I'm moving this question over here cause nobody in the general forum has answered me.

Hey there.

I'm building a desktop hutch (today) for my T42p 15" to fit into, WITH a Mini-dock. I want to be able to close the door and lock the combined unit up in there.

I don't have the mini dock here yet.

Space is tight, and I'm trying to figure out how much extra room I will need for the Mini-dock when I get it. Looks like it adds 2" approximately by pictures, but the dimensions don't speciy how much it adds on to the back of laptop.

Can somebody out there measure their Mini Dock or Port Replicator II (same size, I believe) to see what it adds to depth of the back? OR, if you have an T4X 15" on it, then the total depth of the combined unit would help also.

Just to the back of the Mini dock/ PR II. I know that the power connector will add more, but I can cut a hole for that.

My dock adds 7.5cm, thus, the total depth of a T42p 15" + dock system is 34cm.
You must reserve some extra 2-3cm free space for the VGA, DVI, etc. connectors. Fortunately, these connectors is 2.5cm higher than the table surface and you may put the monitor stand under them.
The width of the dock is 26.5cm.
