Hi,
I seem to be having exactly the same problem as described here:

Press the power button, the fan spins up, the status LCD reacts, but nothing else happens - battery shows 97% charge, and it happens on mains or battery, with or without any drives attached, and a new cmos battery.
Anyone have any suggestions?
