How to remove X60s bios password?

#1 Post by Atreides » Mon May 24, 2010 9:22 am

I was messing around in the bios... and thought it would be cool to try out some of the multiple security features offered. Basically I turned every password on (boot, bios, and HDD) to see how they worked.

I like the bios password option, but the other two just get in the way. How can I disable them? When I press "enter" on them in the bios all it does is bring up a field where I can change the password, not disable it.

Help?

Try changing them to a blank password.
