What can we expect for the coming months ?

I'm planning changing my T60 15' Flexview.
The W 510 is pretty bulky.
Can we ,soon enough, expect a less bulky unit like, say, a W 5*0s or better a W7**s something around 1,2" or 3 cm on the palmrest ?

So far no roadmap for 2nd half of 2010 and beyond has been released. Not clear where Lenovo is headed with various Thinkpads, though many will probably get 16:9 displays. Not sure they will ever release 3cm palmrest on most Thinkpads in the near future except for current and future models of x30x/T4x0s models.

When Intel releases their next platform is when you'll see new systems. Some new X100e are coming as AMD is releasing some new low power chips. The W series is intended to be a workhorse. I don't see them going on a diet anytime soon.

I was hoping for a W701 refresh by the end of the year with the upcoming Quadro equivalent of GTX480M (of course, Quadro should be higher-clocked), i7-940XM, ExpressCard 2.0 and an LG LED-IPS display
