T510 or T410

I can't decide between the two, The dimensions aren't that much different so portability shouldn't be a deciding factor. I just like how the T510 has the wide speakers, I feel as if there's more side room but I've never owned or touched either so I don't want to make a regretful choice. What are your opinions?

I have both, and frankly I prefer the 510 by a wide margin.

There is no substitute for the extra display size. Especially when doing any kind of graphics work there is room on each side for toolbars etc. Also in terms of weight it's very minor. Prior to weighing mine (even though I knew the listed weight) when I first took the T510 out of the box, I was shocked at just how light it felt. And my point of reference was last years T500, so that's a good indicator just how little difference there is. I travel with a T510 or W510 every day and would not go back to a 14" again, in fact the T410 is the last one I'm buying in that size.

Great, I'm looking forward to the T510. Do you use the 9 cell or 6 cell? Doesn't the 9 cell look ugly with it sticking out? Also, how long does your battery last in hours?

Your fancy FHD T510 certainly has a much nicer res than the T410. But for people ordering the T510 now, the best they can get is 1600x900, only 11.1% wider than the T410's 1440x900, and exactly the same in vertical real estate.

I would have gone for the T510 if the screens had been available. Like you say, portability isn't affected much by the larger screen. Went for the T410 and love it - whichever you go for, you'll be pleased with the machine.

How much battery hours are you getting on a 6 cell for your T410?
Is the HD+ for T510 better than the WXGA+ for the T410?
