Why T7200 won't boot up

#1 Post by teladoy » Tue May 25, 2010 10:05 am

When I intend to upgrade my CoreDuo to Core2DUO with a T7200 I purchase in ebay that was suppose to be "NEW" my machine did not boot up, only black screen.
But when I change back to my T2600 it boot up perfect.
Do you think I did something wrong I try two times?
I wonder if you could comment.
Thank you

To update your BIOS, download the .exe at the below link and run it.

Thanks but you think that was the reason it don't boot up?
And how I go updating the BIOS if I am running OS X in this machine?
Already download the file and it is in the computer via VMware>XP
Thank you

That CAN be the reason. If you have something to burn a CD from an iso file, this is a link to a bootable CD.
