X60t - batt vs. AC screen brightness

#1 Post by Marvout » Wed May 26, 2010 11:56 am

Is there a way to force the screen to run at full bright on Battery? I have my screen settings to full bright, but it significantly gets brighter when I plug in to AC. Some how the AC mode has access to a higher setting somewhere.

ThinkPad configuration has a setting to force the screen bright with battery. Also, look at the keyboard HOME and END keys that work to brightren the screen if you hold down the Fn kwy.

RRHODY is right. If you can't use the ThinkPad Configuration application (it stopped being supported after Windows XP), the same setting is available in the BIOS.
