SOLD: SXGA+ T40 (GPU, USB, LCD and other big problems)

#1 Post by virge » Wed May 26, 2010 1:57 pm

****SOLD****

This machine is intended for parts only. The GPU was reballed by Superior Reball and Rework (now GPU Medics) in August of 2008. It appears the GPU may have come loose again, but I'm not positive. Pushing down on it doesn't seem to affect it at all. It boots up to a display of multicolored blocks.

Additional problems: Flakey USB, keyboard is very shiny and missing two keys (insert and "K"), palmrest has a few holes and cracks, lower mouse buttons have been cannibalized, missing a few screws.

The good news: Rest of the plastics are in good used condition with only minor scuffs and wear, hinges and LCD cable also work just fine. This machine is also equipped with the "long fan" which is still good.
