window movement coming out of sleep

#1 Post by famman » Wed May 26, 2010 11:24 pm

I've never experienced this on any of my Thinkpads. I have my T410s connected to an external monitor. When I enter sleep by either using Fn+F4 or letting it automatically enter sleep via the timer, and then wake the computer the window positioning on the external monitor is maintained. However, when I enter sleep by closing the lid, and then wake the computer the windows that were on the external monitor have always moved to the Thinkpad's LCD screen. In power manager I have it set to "sleep" when the lid is closed. Anyone have any idea why this is happening?
