I am not sure if that is a good deal or not...

...but

I did want to welcome you to the TP family :)

Believe me when I say you wont be disappointed. TP's are machines that are well worth the investment!!!

Welcome dd83. Bill, the host of this forum, can usually at least match IBM prices. In addition, he doesn't charge sales tax (unless you live in Florida). He can also do a "dead pixel check" if you want, at an additional cost. He has some nice systems on sale, but contact him and he can get you a quote.

I got that system & couldn't get much excitment from the rest of this crew. Ultimatly, I decided to switch to the 2373m3u cause I realized that i could get a really good deal on it (epp) & it was 14inch which was what I really wanted. I am waiting for it-monday arrival & would be glad to tell you what i think once I get it.

That said, this is a really nice machine. (mt first notebook & tp) Against advice here, i switched the pixels from the natural 1024 x ..pixels to the maximum 1400 x... It makes everything smaller & i lke it better. i ctually find less blur this way.

so, when does it arrive? congrats

My favorite, not that I am biased, is the 2373-P1U.

Bill sent me a sweeeeeeeeeet machine. Not a problem with it! I am in <3 !

If you find your choice unsuitable and want the M3U, contact this chap from IBM US. He is just great.

TONY MORSILLO

I daresay, he would probably get the M3U to you for about $1600...
Mind you if Bill(chap running this forum) can do about $1800 or less with a pixel check, that would defintely be a [censored] fine deal as he does not charge tax(according to other senior posters here)!
The M3U is a superb choice on a SXGA+ 14" TP!
