T43 HELP!! (please)

it is first in boot order , when i reboot it starts to read crrom then says no operating system found!

im also trying to create a bootable flash drive but i get an error saying invalid file system :@

i dunno what the hell im doing wrong

Try booting a known working CD...one that definitely boots in another machine.

I am trying to boot a xp cd that works in my desktop...

Is it possible to put my hd in another laptop then install windows and transfer the hd back accross to my laptop?

at my wits end with this thing its going out the window just now

Typically, only if that "other laptop" is also a T43 . If you go through the entire Windows install procedure it will configure itself to the hardware that is present in that system. If you then move the hard drive into the T43, the HAL (hardware abstraction layer) will not be correct for what's in the T43 and you'll get a blue screen.

That is possible, but you'll have to make some changes to registry and move a few files around before you try to boot it. Ed (Underclocker) posted this useful link the other day...

gah im just never gonna get this laptop up and running i think il just sell it and buy one that works
