wait for the x201s to comeback or just get the x201 now?

I would really prefer the x201s but I am tired of waiting for it to show up at lenovo.com (and it is too expensive at other sites)
the most I can wait is until school starts.

There are component shortages with the larger manufacturers like Acer hogging and getting priority. Maybe by Sep comes on again and you can buy then. Plus there should be back to school specials. Wait it out. If you need it now get it now. I don't see much difference between the x201 and x201s. If you want CPU power, the x201 is a better choice anyway and its light enough IMO.

I'm pretty sure when I called in my order the guy on the phone was about to give me an estimated month on the x201s, but I cut him off and asked the only question that mattered to me - which costs more, and when he said the 201s by a significant margin, I lost interest. I guess some people would want the WXGA+, but 1280x900 isn't exactly lacking.
