CCFL for older machines

#1 Post by Unknown_K » Thu Jun 10, 2010 8:57 pm

None of my old 75x or 76x machines have issues with the backlight, they all work fine. But my 380Z (the cool one with the 1024x678 screen) is red when I boot. I seen another unit cheap on Ebay and snagged it, works except its screen is red on boot as well. Since I am 0 and 2 on 380Z screen backlights I was wondering if any CCFL you can buy will work on those models as long as they match the screen size of the LCD panel?

Also are there any problem panels used in the older series I should look out for when collecting?

For a 13.3" LCD, Moniserv recommends this CCFL -

However I would recommend taking one out and measuring it per their instructions -
