Unusual Problem

#1 Post by tomartom » Thu Jun 10, 2010 10:31 pm

I use Mobile Broadband on an x300 as a means of internet access, however I have a wireless network (router) that i wish to use to connect a printer to.

The problem is that the two types of wireless do not work together, ie; the mobile broadband cuts off when I connect to the wlan. If I want to print something from the internet then it is not possible or practical.

Any ideas

Cheers Tony

You can modify settings in Access Connections so that both the WLAN and WWAN cards will remain connected -- that's the easy part. Once you do that, however, the more difficult part remains, i.e., telling Windows how to communicate using two network interfaces with different subnets. The following explains how to solve the second part of the "puzzle":

Good luck!
