Qualcomm GOBI 2000 FRU 78Y1399 in T60 2007-FRG

#1 Post by LK7R » Tue Jun 15, 2010 7:05 am

Anyone is using this WWAN card in T60? I managed to install WWAN antena and SIM card holder and install software for the modem, but having no luck connecting to the Internet (Tried trough Access Connections -> WWAN -> advanced options -> O2/EE profile).
Thanks Dan.

I've tried with FRU 60Y8183 and can't get the WWAN card to show up when I press F5. All drivers installed fine but I can't power it on. Post with details is below:

Thank you! Solved my issue by taping pin 20 on my Gobi2000 (as advised in topic you have provided) and installing driver IN6WLN23WW5.exe http://download.lenovo.com/UserFiles/Dr ... N23WW5.exe.
Card works great with Vodafone CZ HSPDA (download speed 2 374,30 kbit/s).
Cheers Dan.

I do not recall that I would update bios, so just taping pin 20. (But it is quite some time since my first try).
