How to get back 'OnScreen Display' [T500, Fresh XP install]

#1 Post by Marked_0ne » Sun Jun 20, 2010 4:12 pm

I just installed a fresh copy of XP, after being dissatisfied with the video drivers for the T500 on Windows 7 (Switchable graphics issues, drew way too much power). Anyways, my question isn't about this decision, it is about reclaiming all the best parts of the Lenovo drivers and software on my new install.

I can't find how to get the on-screen display (brightness gauge, volume gauge) working. Basically I'm wondering what I need to download to get it back. I have the Power Manager, Video Drivers, Audio Drivers installed but none of these did the trick. Can anyone help me out? Thanks in advance :)

You'll also need the System Interface and the Hotkey driver.

Thank you so much!! I would not have thought to get that one, but that did the trick.
