Go to the driver section of NVIDIA's site.

Select "Quadro" as the product type, "Quadro FX Series (Notebook)" as the product series, select your operating system and then click search.

Try the download type "Quadro Partner Certified Driver" and see if that works.

Are there any benchmarks comparing a 3800 to a 2800?

I think the question is rather how much worse is a Quadro FX2800M than a Quadro FX3800M, respectively whether it is that much weaker or worth the price difference.

Here is the link for the FX 2800M.
http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-Qua ... 061.0.html

The one you gave is for last generation's 2700 model. It has benchmark numbers but unfortunately, the page for the 2800 doesn't at that site.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison ... ity_Quadro
I'm guessing, based on the number of these "CUDA" parallel processors, 128 vs 96 in the 3800 vs 2800 respectively, 675 vs 500 MHz core clock, 1688 vs 1250 shader clock, and everything else same, the 3800 is about 33-50% faster in most cases.

Is that worth +$500? I would reason that because the 2800 is already a high end card, albeit low in that category, it would well serve all but the most demand graphics artist or CAD operator.

But again, that's a guess based on specs because of lack of hard benchmark numbers.
