Thinkpad R61 For sale (Parts Or Repair)

Up for sale is a used and non-working Thinkpad R61 (Type # 7732-CTO). It was working fine until a bad storm and either lightening or power surges killed it. From what the computer was doing, It is most likely the motherboard that is bad. The display stays blank but the fan, hard drive, and the status led's come on for a few seconds before going off. Sometimes I can get it to do that and sometimes it will not do anything. It will come with a full set of restore disks and the original power adapter, It is in overall excellent cosmetic condition with hardly any signs of wear and tear. The battery should be like new because it was mostly used with the power adapter, everything else on the computer should be fine but the board. Price is $205 plus Shipping via your choice of UPS Or USPS.

Well, drat!, it would be one of those "Configure-To-Order system" machines, so the type number tells us nothing we didn't already know. I guess your going to have to post the complete specs and list what is, and is not, included with the sale.

Do yourself a favour and remove the serial...yesterday...since your warranty is still good and you can likely get it fixed by Ez Serv...

This product has a three year limited warranty which includes a ThinkPlus warranty upgrade
