docked T410s not waking from sleep or showing as docked

#1 Post by scottmlew » Mon Jun 28, 2010 2:25 pm

I finally setup my Mini Dock Series 3. My T410s (running 64 bit Win7) won't wake when I move the mouse or use the keyboard...I need to hit the power button. I've checked the setting that allows the mouse to wake the computer and it is set properly. Any thoughts?

On a possibly related note, the start menu doesn't give me an undock option -- is this normal? Some internet research suggests that with some laptops/docking solutions this is normal, but I didn't find anything specific to my situation.

Thanks for any insight!

The lack of undock option in start is normal. Lenovo has eliminated this step, so you just unlock the key, hit the button on the dock and go (a big improvement over previous docks).

Don't know what the deal is with the sleep. I don't have my mouse set to wake the computer, but when I hit a key on the keyboard it does wake.
