#1 Post by koden » Tue Jun 29, 2010 3:17 pm

I have this laptops:

Can I charge this with the combo adapter?

And where to find this adapter cheap?

This is a link from denmark where it cost 125 dollar.

@koden: About a year ago I bought an adapter that allows charging from a wall socket or a car. The adapter fits a T43 so I think it would fit any of your machines.

The reason I bought it was to allow my wife to charge her T43p when we were travelling abroad in our car. She now has a brand new X201 which has a different charger. Therefore the old charger unit is now redundant.

If you are interested I am happy to pass it on to you for whatever it cost (€20) plus postage. The postage/shipping cost won't be cheap as it weighs about 500 grams. However, if you know of a cheaper alternative ... for example someone visiting the UK who could pick it up ... then let me know. You can PM me if that helps.

The T60 requires 20V, all the others only need 16V.
What you want is something like this: http://www.antonline.com/p_APA63US-GP_531273.htm

Oops, I just realized I gave you the link for only a WALL adapter.
You need a car/wall (universal) adapter, such as:
http://www.targus.com/us/product_detail ... APM62US-02 (universal)
Cheap here: http://www.starsurplus.com/viewitem.las ... -02-BULK-R
or
http://www.targus.com/us/product_detail ... APM12TPUSZ (specific for IBM/Lenovo)
