Oops! Made a booo-boo. Wrong card reader on T410s

#1 Post by anthony » Fri Jul 09, 2010 6:32 am

Mea culpa. I just bought my wife a T410S. Problem is that I ordered the 5-in-one card reader. Her company's Verizon air card needs an Express card slot. Can I just buy her a USB Modem? Do I need to buy that from Verizon directly? Or does her company have to do it? Apologies if these questions seem stupid or whingey, but, right now, I'm feeling both....

Search the forum, the card reader is just plugged into the express card slot. You need to unscrew one screw to take it out.

Thanks, but looking at the manual that's waaaay over my skill level. Involved first removing the keyboard. I just bought her a USB aircard instead... Thanks for your help, though. Much appreciated and I learned a lot.

Ciao...
