X30 Security chip beep error code = dead mobo ?

#1 Post by fasteez » Sat Jul 10, 2010 10:31 am

Hi,

I just got 3 boards, all playing the same 4 beeps song that according to the TP Manual means "Security Chip" failure; is this error fixable ? ( as far as I can see the circuits look fine; no burns no blown cap. .. )

No. The infamous 4x4 beep is a death warrant.

Good luck.
