Score: Porcupine 1347 - PitBull 0

A pitbull was in his backyard in southern California, minding his own business, when a porcupine invaded his territory.
The brave but stupid pit bull immediately challenged the porcupine!

Bad decision. .. . the porcupine won this short contest!

A vet sedated the dog and then removed a total of 1,347 quills.
The dog survived and has, hopefully, learned a valuable lesson.
Now, tell me you had a bad day!!
Lovely day for a Guinness! (The Real Black Stuff)

Amazing pictures, RBS, although I am pleased to know there was a happy ending for the dog.

I woner how long it takes for a porcupine to reload after that broadside?

Dogs must be carried on the escalator. Where can I find a dog?

No need to reload. There were still about 28,000 quills available: http://animals.nationalgeographic.com/a ... upine.html

I prefer my dogs a little smarter than this one, e.g.: smart enough to back off after getting 1 quill.
I used to be an anarchist but I quit because there were too many rules
