x200t i5 upgrade

Can I upgrade my x200t to i5? Will the motherboard be compatible with new i series?

To expound on this, the motherboards on the X-series use processors that are permanently affixed to the motherboard, so there's no easy way to upgrade to the newer processor generation.

That said, if I can ever find an X201 motherboard for sale separate from the system I'd be sorely tempted to retrofit it into my X200. I got this machine for next to nothing(local trade deal) and that might be a nice, interesting project to accomplish. I've been gathering info for such an upgrade, but there is precious little out there. Something like that may or may not work for your tablet, depending on how hard-up you were to do this to your system. Cost-wise, you would actually be better off selling your X200t and using the proceeds towards an X201t... I'm sure the motherboard is extremely pricey.
